I don’t advocate corporal punishment at all in schools; it’s not right to hit other peoples’ kids; besides, it teaches nothng but fear…but I DO object when the kids have the right to do and say whatever they want about us teachers!

When I was young and disrespected a teacher, I got caned and it never killed me. And by “disrespecting” I mean that I forgot to sit with my arms folded after saying the collective “Good afternoon Mr XXX” to the headmaster and I was caned (with 2 other boys) for that when we were about 9 years old!

Ah, I missed the joke at the end. I thought by therapy you were referring to the sessions with the psychoanalyst. I was expecting your recounting of the experience to be humorous, although possibly insightful about the field of psychoanalysis.

Ok sorry to mislead you, the thing about therapy was a joke! Maybe this is one of the cultural nuances of the English lamguage; I actually meant that the whole experieince was SO traumatic I need therapy!

Anyway, good to know I have a fanbase!

Tried all of the things you have said. Employing more staff is not cost effective; having a men’s only session is not cost effetcive. In fact, ANYTHING to accomodate our needs is not cost effective.

Stupid swimming people. I hope they get infections in nasty places.

Are they claiming they don’t have the female staff or that it’s discrimination? Surely not both!
If it’s the latter, you can emphasize that there is nothing stopping them from having a mens only session if that were ever to be in demand.
If they don’t have the female staff tell ‘em to advertise for some! Or find some qualified girlies to volunteer? Long shot, I know.
